Josie Redwine, Esq.
Josie Redwine is a sole practitioner licensed to practice law in Georgia (since 1996) and Florida (since 1997). Her law practice is primarily devoted to building families through adoption. Since founding the firm in 1997, she has completed more than three thousand adoption proceedings. She and Reza, her husband of twenty-five years, live in metro Atlanta with their two children, Sophia and Jack. As an adoptive mother, Josie brings unique insight and loving concern to her client relationships.
Josie received her B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, and has served on the advisory board of RESOLVE of Georgia, Inc., a support group for couples dealing with infertility. Josie is an associate member of the Georgia Association of Licensed Adoption Agencies (GALAA), and regularly represents Georgia adoption agencies in addressing birth parent rights and insuring that children are legally free for adoption.
Stacy John, Paralegal
Stacy John joined the firm in May 2003. She is often the initial contact and helps to answer questions about the adoption process and the services of the firm.Stacy has over 15 years of legal experience ranging from consumer bankruptcy to corporate finance. She assists with the drafting of documents and legal research. Stacy works closely with Josie in preparing cases for hearing and is responsible for collecting supporting documentation and necessary information. She is often in direct contact with clients, the courts, agencies and other attorneys.
Stacy has a BSBA from Ohio State University and received her paralegal certification from Capital University Law School. She and her husband Bill live in Marietta with their two children, Lily and Griffin.
